Join the ACLU of Alaska for an Immigration Bystander Training to learn how to safely intervene and provide assistance to community members and fellow Alaskans interacting with federal immigration officials. Participation in this virtual event is anonymous to the public; pre-registration is required.

This training is geared toward impacted community members, specifically immigrants and refugees in Alaska, to help them understand their rights when interacting with ICE at home, in public, or while detained. This event will take place in-person at Dena' Movement Commons, 526 Gaffney Rd Suite 204, Fairbanks, and be offered virtually online.

Join the ACLU of Alaska and Refugee Assistance and Immigration Services (RAIS) at Catholic Social Services in Fairbanks for a two-part training for concerned community members who want to support Alaska's immigrant and refugee community. This training will cover: Know Your Responsibilities: This training is geared toward service providers, educators, community organizations, business owners, faith leaders, and anyone who interacts with immigrants and refugees to review their responsibilities and rights when interacting with immigration law enforcement in a professional setting. Bystander Intervention Training: This training is for concerned community members to learn how to safely intervene and assist community members and fellow Alaskans interacting with federal immigration officials.
