Becca recently graduated summa cum laude and as a Robertson Scholar from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) with a degree in Health Policy and Management from the Gillings School of Global Public Health and a minor in Women's and Gender Studies. She has centered the last four years on her passion for reproductive health, rights, and justice. At UNC, Becca was a Bryan Fellow and Buckley Public Service Scholar, as well as a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health, and Honors Carolina. Prior to coming to the ACLU of Alaska, Becca interned for the National Partnership for Women and Families on their Congressional Relations and Social Impact team. She has also interned for the World Health Organization, the Duke-Margolis Institute for Health Policy, Women Deliver, and the Center for Rural Strategies. Through these experiences, she has gained experience in policy, advocacy, and research, with a focus on health-related social needs, reproductive and perinatal health, rural communities, and climate justice.

Outside of work, Becca enjoys singing, rock climbing, biking, and trying new outdoor challenges. She is beyond excited to join the ACLU of Alaska and see the beautiful places Alaska has to offer.
