Eddy Falcon joined the ACLU of Alaska team in May 2025 as the Civic Engagement Specialist. He was born and raised in the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa tribe in North Dakota, near the US-Canada border. He has an extensive background in community organizing, Indigenous rights advocacy, human trafficking prevention, serving the unhoused, and trauma informed and culturally rooted healing practices.

Eddy first came to Alaska in 2020, following family, and joins the ACLU of Alaska after working for Southcentral Foundation as a Learning & Development Associate. There, he led different trauma-intensive trainings, led development for the LGBTQ2S+ curriculum for support groups, and helped facilitate generational healing. Previously, Eddy worked for Covenant House Alaska, providing his unhoused neighbors with immediate needs and trauma-informed care.

Eddy tries to live the values and teachings of his Ancestors and is passionate about bettering the lives of all people, including his Indigenous relatives or otherwise. In his spare time, you can find him visiting with friends or family, joking about anything and everything. To him, laughter is good medicine.
