Bio
Before serving the ACLU of Alaska as its Legal Director, Eric served as a Staff Attorney, Emeritus Attorney, and Managing Attorney for the affiliate. He also helped launch the permanent supportive housing project “Home for Good” at the United Way of Anchorage as its project director. Before turning to a public interest career, he worked in language learning, financial services, and the film industry.
Eric earned his law degree at Georgetown University Law Center. He also a master’s degree in business administration from Case Western Reserve University, and a master’s degree in international management from the Thunderbird School of Global Business. He is the son of resettled refugees whose families were from what are now Ukraine and Romania. A consequent sense of obligation informs his practice protecting the United States and Alaska Constitutions.
