With close to 20 years of experience in higher education, law, marketing, and business development, Camilo brings with him a unique set of skills, strong history of leadership and collaboration, and a deep commitment to community wellbeing.
Camilo most recently served as the Director of Operations at BabyVend, a custom vending machine company specializing in dispensing baby supplies, activities, and snacks, and helped grow the company’s operation to over 20 machines nationwide. Camilo also trained and supported over 30 local businesses through his work with the Set Up Shop program at the Anchorage Community Land Trust and assisted in the startup of Pinnacle Community Health, a community-based behavioral clinic specializing in substance use treatment services to adults in recovery.
Prior to his work in Alaska, Camilo worked as Assistant Dean of Admissions at the University of Louisville School of Law where he directed and managed all administrative functions and daily operations of the law school’s admissions office.
Camilo earned his law degree from Seattle University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Riverside.
