Family Preparedness Plan
Every family should have a plan in case of an emergency. It is critical for immigrant families to think ahead and set more concrete plans for immigration emergencies that can arise.
Equally important is how to locate your loved ones if immigration authorities have detained them. The ACLU of Alaska has created a guide for how to identify where your loved one might be held, and how to prepare important documents and information in case you are arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
